New York, NY - Hooters of America, the restaurant chain famous for its scantily clad waitresses and sports bar atmosphere, is reportedly preparing to file for bankruptcy amid declining customer traffic and mounting debt. The company is working with the law firm Ropes & Gray to restructure its operations, with a potential Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing expected in the coming months.

Once a staple in the casual dining industry, Hooters has struggled in recent years to maintain its relevance in a rapidly changing cultural and economic landscape. The restaurant, known for its wings, beer, and the controversial "Hooters Girls" concept, has faced backlash for its outdated business model and inability to attract younger consumers.
