Coolbaugh Township, PA – Joseph "Cara" Rogan, a trans identified male has been removed from his position as Vice Chair of the Coolbaugh Township Supervisors following allegations that he harassed and allegedly assaulted a Black woman while she was sitting in her car. The incident, which was captured in a now-viral TikTok video, has sparked outrage across the community and on social media. Rogan still remains Supervisor.
The video, which has amassed millions of views, shows Rogan aggressively confronting the woman, shouting obscenities, and escalating the situation before reportedly making physical contact. At one point Rogan is heard asking the woman if she was a "Trump Voter" and "MAGA Bitch," after she referred to him as "sir," when their confrontation escalated. The victim, whose identity has not yet been publicly released, claims that Rogan's actions left her feeling threatened and unsafe. She has since filed a formal complaint with local authorities, and an investigation into the incident is underway.
This is not the first time Rogan has faced accusations of assault against a Black woman. Reports have surfaced indicating that he has been involved in previous incidents of violent behavior targeting Black women, further fueling concerns about his conduct in a position of leadership.
