NYPD Seeks Suspect in Brooklyn Subway Sexual Assault Of 19-Year-Old Girl

Brooklyn, NY – NYPD are investigating a sexual assault that took place on the morning of March 16 at the 25th Street subway station in Brooklyn’s Sunset Park neighborhood. The NYPD is seeking public assistance in identifying the suspect, who allegedly groped a 19-year-old woman in a two-part encounter.

According to investigators, the incident began around 11:15 a.m. when the victim was approached by a man on the subway platform. The man allegedly groped her without warning before she attempted to leave the station. The suspect then reportedly followed her onto nearby 23rd Street, where he continued to harass and grope her in a second, more aggressive encounter. He fled on foot in the direction of 5th Avenue.

The suspect is described as a light-complexioned male, between 40 and 50 years old, last seen wearing all black clothing. Police say he appeared to be acting alone and has not been identified as a repeat offender at this time.
